During SBFoton 2021 a stream of videos produced by the Photonics community will be available on this conference website tab. To this end, we have invited students, researchers and developers of products related to Photonics to actively participate in this virtual tour producing audiovisual content that presents their laboratories to the world.
To those interested in participating, here are the instructions for preparing the video:
To register your laboratory in the Tour, write to conference@sbfoton.org.br, subject: “Photonics Lab Tour 2021” to provide the following information below.
Record the video to show off the facilities, experiments and how you control them. If you manage the time, you can even share your favorite lab equipment, and also include some of the local culture and what you do for fun. You can feature as many people / labs as you would like.
Be creative with the video. There are no rules or constraints other than keeping it less than 5 minutes. The deadline for uploading the video is May 25th, 2021.
The video should be recorded with a good webcam or computer webcam.
After recording, you must post the video on youtube in the “unlisted” privacy and submit the link via email to conference@sbfoton.org.br.
If there is more than one laboratory that you want to include in the Lab Tour, you can register it separately. The important thing is that the video for each laboratory lasts up to 5 minutes.
We inform the participants that the last submission of each file will always be considered.
The Brazilian Photonics Society has begun its activities on May 24th, 2017 with the main objective to work for increasing the importance and awareness of optics and photonics in Brazil and South America.
To contact SBFoton and take active part in this movement, send an email to conference@sbfoton.org.br.
This event’s visual identity was designed by Preface.
